Tamara Waakop Reijers is the creative director of Studio Art To Get, a freelance business in Illustration & Art. Inspiration is found everyday at the studio she shares with three graphic designers in the center of Rotterdam. In 2002, she graduated in Art & Design at the Illustration department of the Willem the Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and also did an exchange program in Illustration and Fine Arts at the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University (USA) in 2000.Tamara has worked for all kinds of magazines, children's book publishers, advertising agencies, styling agencies, and art and design representatives in Amsterdam and New York. She also makes small acrylic paintings on canvas for children and personal artwork with pen that can be colored, blown up and printed on canvas. One day she would like to write and illustrate her own children's book, and is currently working on a story. Besides illustrating she has also been a freelance teacher in illustration at the Vrije Academie voor Beeldende Kunst (SKVR).
